About Domain Focus

Like a lot of things, Domain Focus came about because of dissatisfaction with the status quo.

We are a group of product-oriented developers/architects who became frustrated by software systems that didn’t meet the needs of their users.

  • Systems that were functional but lacked usability.
  • Processes that kept the people building the system from understanding what users really needed.
  • Requirements that were defined in terms of data entry rather than user journeys.

We formed Domain Focus to show that there is a better way. We believe that the builders of software systems are the people best placed to understand what users really need and we partner with your company to help make that happen.
